    Digital Subscriber Line, DSL is the technology combination uses traditional telephone line as the media to transmit data, includes HDSL, ADSL, ADSL2+, VDSL, VDSL2,…etc, so called xDSL technology. They majorly differ in data rate and transmission distance. DSL supported asynchronous and synchronous mode over traditional POST and ISDN subscriber networks. It solves the bottleneck of the last mile communication between service provider and subscribers. Leveraged the wider spreading of telephone subscribers and telephone line installation, DSL technology is becoming the most important and potential technology applied in many countries all over the world.
